Dr. Dolly Daou is an Interior designer with a Doctorate qualification in the fields of interior architecture, architecture and urban design. Dr. Daou has a large experience in teaching, research, quality assurance, and leadership, specializing in interior architecture and in multi-disciplinary global design projects. Currently, Dr. Daou is the Design Lab Director: New Eating Habits at l’École de Design, Nantes Atlantiques and is the Director of the Association for Professional Interior Designers in the MENA region, initiating and maintaining alliances with international associations and the industry. Between 2011 and 2016, Dr. Dolly Daou was Head of Bachelor and Master of Interior Architecture at Swinburne University of Technology in Australia and Coordinator of Interior Design Double Degree at Swinburne University of Technology and City University of Hong Kong, also the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for IDEA (Interior Designers/Architects Educators Association in Australia and New Zealand). Dr. Daou also has many publications such as the co-edited book Unbounded: On the Interior and Interiority and is the co-initiator of a global online mutli-disciplinary design project between multiple universities across the world.
